About the Ranch
Some important information about the farm
The farm is situated 2 kilometers from the city center in a peaceful, calm environment right in the neighborhood of the Hármas Körös River, 500 meters from the flood plain.
The ranch can be reached on stone road all year. The farm itself received its land tenure in the year of 2002. The whole of the estate is a newly built poultry farm constructed in accordance with the regulations of the European Union. There is a wheel sterilizer with pit, a manure storage unit with pit, an animal carcass container with pit, a black and white changing room with pit, as well as a quarantine fence. All pits have obtained their watertight reports.
The farm lies on the territory of 7.4 acres, 2 acres of which are not under crop, whereas the other 5 acres are covered by forests.
The 10-15 year old poplar and elm forest surrounding the whole of the farm shields the place completely from the outside world. The area of the fishpond is 0.5 acres.
The real estate is completely fenced in with an automatic gate at the entrance.
On the front side of the river, in the area of 15 kms, on approximately 25-30.000 ha, a store for plant protection, and for seed grain purchase, a barn and a drying room cannot be found. There is a possibility for taking plough-lands and pastures on lease or buying them.

The Hármas Körös River in Gyomaendrőd, especially its reach flowing into the Sebes and Kettős Körös Rivers is considered to be the most beautiful area of the Körös region. With its fishing places and free beaches it welcomes visitors who are searching for an opportunity to fish and raft. The conditions of the region are highly favorable for active tourism. In the area surrounding the farm, there are plenty of opportunities to go hiking, horse riding, fishing, as well as hunting. Fish is ensured by the 17 backwaters and the river in a 12-kilometer-zone.
The closest fishing hut is situated 10 kilometers from our agricultural farm.
Along the river runs a 26-kilometer-long path for hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders.
1.7 kilometers away from our farm, in the parkland of Erzsébet can be found the most significant tourist attraction of our town, the revived Liget Thermal Bath and Campsite, with its 62 Celsius degrees thermal water that was declared to be medicinal in 1960. Neighboring our town, about 15 kilometers from our farm is the Körös-Maros National Park that is famous for its Bustard Preserve. The biggest bustard stock lives in the Dévaványa Landscape-Protection Area, with many other preserved species that can be observed in their natural habitat. In the flood plain of the preserve and the Hármas Körös River there are thousands of acres of pastures.
