A look at the farmhouse

In the living room and the hall there is tile flooring. The rooms have wall-to-wall carpets.
The house has floor heating and radiators.

  From the porch that faces the fishpond we can get to the hall.
Opposite the hall is the back door.		 The next room is the office.

The windows of the rooms face the fishpond and the park. In the residency there is a living room, seven rooms, a bathroom, a shower, two lavatories, an office, a pantry, and two halls. Those who long for some refreshment can use the shower next to the bathroom.

After a long, tiring day the Jacuzzi ensures some pleasant relaxation. In winter the straw burning furnace situated at the back door heats up the building perfectly. Right next to it, behind the big door there is a spacious pantry that can be used to store straw bales for the furnace enough for about three months.
Those preferring all modern conveniences may switch to gas heating which is just as well installed.
The furnace house can function as a garage for two cars.		 The outside kitchen bringing back the old times is situated next to the furnace house. In the oven delicious curd cheese cakes can be baked that is so typical for the countryside. The outside kitchen is neighboring the garage where two cars can easily be parked.

In the summer heat it is a real refreshment to swim in the cool pond. The pond also proves to be a real fishing paradise. As you can see, fish is guaranteed.
From the fish caught in the pond, real Körös fish soup can be cooked in the park.

Some words about the flood basin of the Hármas Körös River

The Hármas Körös River is believed to have the cleanest water in Hungary. Along its reach by Gyomaendrőd various free beaches operate where rafters may take a rest as well. The river itself with its flood plain is declared to be a Nature Reserve as part of the Körös-Maros National Park. The Local Government of Gyomaendrőd has created a 26-kilometer-long path for hikers, cyclists, and horseback riders. At the bank of the river many fishing places have been built. For enjoying the spectacular view and rich fauna, three bird watching places have been installed which fit into the environment completely.

In the flood plain various types of flora grow, such as gallery forests, willow and poplar woods, bush willows, reforested areas, and alleys.
The gallery forests escort the river in different density, characterizing the riverbanks of the flood plain. Also typical for this region are the willow and poplar grove forests. In the forests plant associations are formed from the flora reaching the crown level, such as grove grapes, wild hop, wild cucumber, or rarely grass squash. The undergrowth consists mostly of cloudberry and nettle.

From an ornithological point of view the fauna of the region includes some heron species, such as grey herons, little egrets, black-crowned night herons, and squacco herons nesting in pairs or breeding in smaller groups. Apart from these species some predatory birds such as common buzzards, goshawks, Eurasian sparrow hawks, and black kites can also be found here. The area proves to be a nesting paradise for singing birds, too.

The estate is situated in the middle of the territory of the Körösmenti Hunter Company. Their hunting area is 10 thousand acres. Except for the populated areas, on the front side of the river, at the hunting area of 30-40 thousand acres neither fishing nor hunting lodges can be found.
After the hunting and fishing season is over, you do not have to bored, because in the farm buildings work can be continued.

In the back yard there is the chain pulley, the machine shed, the horse stocks and trainer, the summer corral, the roofed crop storage unit, the outside pantry, the first grey door farm building, the second green door farm building, as well as the manure storage unit with pit, the black and white changing room with pit, the quarantine fence, and the animal carcass container.

Social building

In the social building can be found the black and white changing room with shower. The attic has been converted for winter use providing accommodation for four people.

Crop storage unit

The straw storage unit has the storage capacity of 1.500 pieces of round straw bale.

The straw storage unit can be reached on a road with a weight-bearing capacity of 40 tons.

The small straw bale is used to heat up the buildings, so the cost of the heating is negligible.

First grey door farm building

Parameters:
Width: 30 meters, Length: 75 meters
Area: 2250 m2 of which:
- 1800 m2 is suitable for animal husbandry
- 450 m2 is the area of the crop storage unit of which 45 m2 is the caretaker's room, and 45 m2 is the stall for four horses

The building is completely insulated. Ventilation is installed. It can be heated, has been converted for winter use, suitable for breeding any kind of poultry, as well as storing crops or else.

  Electricity: There is 400 V and three times 50 amps of industrial electricity. From the entrance of the crop storage unit, the stall can be seen.

  All farm buildings are surrounded by an entire road system, thus it can be approached from every direction. Behind the first grey door farm building, the roofing of the second green door farm building can be seen.

    The whole farm is drained.

From the crop storage unit the crops are transported to the hatchery area by a lower-hopper transport pulley.

From the crop storage unit opens the horse stall with the area of 45 m2. From here we get to the caretaker’s room which is also 45 m2. The windows of the caretaker’s room face the pre-hatchery room. From here we can follow the breeding process of the young chicken. The caretaker’s room has a bathroom with hot water and shower.

There is a hoist winch (running cat) which can be moved at all length on the rails fixed to the roofing of the building. At the caretaking process of the poultry it can facilitate the transportation of the round straw bales.

The horse stall. At the end of the crop storage unit the entrance of the pre-hatchery can be seen, which you can cross by tractor or truck. The horse stall which opens from the crop storage unit provides a place for four horses. The horses can be placed in pairs with their backs to each other.

The size of the pre-hatchery: 1800 m2 It has a self-feeding and a self-drinking system, as well as an automatic medicine feeder.

Second green door farm building

Parameters:
Width: 30 m, Length: 70 m
Area: 2100 m2

The building is not insulated, but completely closed and covered.
It has five doors, one at the front, one at the back, and three sliding doors at the sides, two on the right and one on the left. It can be approached both from the front and the back. The doors are manufactured to be the size of a truck, so that when the poultry is being transported, trucks can easily enter.
On both sides of the building at its full length, all windows can be opened, so the problem of ventilation is naturally solved.
Stepping out of the building, at the back and on the left lays a huge territory with forests which provides perfect environment for the animals.

  Apart from electricity, light in the building is ensured by transparent corrugated sheets installed at the top.

Cistern

There is a private, authorized well with drinkable water. This well provides the water supply for the whole of the farm.

Industrial electricity

The three phased industrial electricity with the power of three times 50 amps is installed at the farm with perfect fire and lightning prevention. A complete system developed for putting out fires uses the water of the pond.
